This is one of my favorite digital art pieces I have created.

I wanted to make a piece that was balanced throughout the canvas without one focal point, almost more like a “pattern.” I also wanted to play with different textures and brushes to create more dimension. I used a textured brush for the spaghetti noodles and the sauce to make it seem like they were drawn onto the canvas with a crayon. I used a regular smooth brush for the people which makes it seem like the people are merely visitors in this Spaghetti World.

Spaghetti Slide shows how childlike imagination can be taken into the context of a more mature piece that is focused more on design and composition aspects rather than the individual elements of the piece. I am planning on creating more of these with different types of food and make a series out of them!
